2014 is turning the corner

hey, hi, hello, yes I haven't posted for a very long time but im back on it and ready so relax, I know you missed me.
let me get you all caught up:
thanksgiving 2013 was spent at the lesueur house (when you get married you will realize that you split holidays, next year we will dine at my side of the families house.)

kolton has been working out of town like usual last stops
Fallon, NV & Las Vegas, NV
he is now at home and has been for the past week & being in the groove of him being gone every week I didn't realize how much we really did miss having our man of the house home.
(so in other words please cross your fingers that he gets on an in town job)
coming through December other then the hussel of the crowds or the honking of the horns my sweet grandma monica had a full knee replacement and would spend her holidays in the hospital (she is doing very well and enjoys getting to relax during the day)

sophie got called aboard to the Polar Express and couldn't have been more excited & with her favorite Minnie Mouse jammies the whole night was a success

jazz game picture obvi.

Christmas was only a couple days away at this point and I "thought" I was almost done, "I only have to get stocking stuffers & a couple more little things." yeah right we were shopping the day of Christmas eve finishing up, as Im sure all of the rest of you were to. Sophie got her bran new (4 hour put together) kitchen, Kolton got spoiled with jazz tickets, a tint for his truck, and new wheels
and as for me I got spoiled
but was honestly just to
happy to have all my family together.

post Christmas we watched the UFC fights (honestly can you belive that I know you all have youtubed it) and we also went sledding and we were the champions... the best post Christmas event was our family pictures I cant get enough of them and it has inspired me to re redecorate my

little home, wish me luck.

our decorations and all the DIY things I decide to venture out to will be up next and our new years resloutions. Happy New Years everyone. Welcome 2014

thanks to november

because its November and everyone is doing there thankful spills i thought i would do one not because i'm following the crowd but because i was inspired to today after hearing this..
a mom of a little boy named ronan. this poor mom got the news that her baby boy had cancer, something a mom, brother, sister, grandma, best friend never wants to hear come out of a doctor mouth. she ended up keeping a blog about this trial and the post she wrote after he died was put into a song by the one and only taylor swift a follower of the blog. the lyrics are the mom's words posted on the computer screen. after hearing this song it made me want to run home to my little girl and never let her go so yes that is what i am thankful for every single day is my little girl sophie ann.

Advice to moms that i am going to be putting into my own life.
1. leave the dishes in the sink, they can wait.
2. dont fold the laundry, there is an iron for that.
3. dont scream and yell, thats what drives in the car by your self with the radio blasting is for.
4. say i love you more times then you can count, your babies favorite words out of your mouth.
scoop your little angel up, let them make a mess on the floor, read the entire dr.seuss book, replay princess and the frog for the 14th time that day, make them laugh till it makes you cry, and always tuck them in snug as a bug in a rug

Being a mom is hard work and keeping it all together is even harder (believe me i had a blow up just two nights ago, seriously i went nuts) & im okay with that its only happens every now and then (yes some months more then others) but when it all comes down to it i get to look at my soph and be so thankful that i was picked to be her mommy forever and ever.

okay okay if your not a mom yet, dont stress hopefully this was just a good read and your got your little cry that every girl has to have regardless of there mood, (crying is always a good release) && you know you are thankful for your hubby, mom, dad, boyfriend, bestfriend whoever it may be you can use at least one of my tips listed ^^^^^.

let me lighten things up..... sophie says "oh Sh**" every time she drops something. Funny? yes for the first few times.. until im in the grocery store and my 18 month old says it in front of the little old lady. Solution? ohhhh darn in place of you know what (not catching on so well). wish me luck with that one! Sophie also says cheeeeeeeeese, one sec (pointing her finger at me), mama, dad, baba, dont, no no, dog, and has a professional fake cry.

take a walk into lesueur life

As my blog title goes the TRIO of lesueur life its only appropriate that i give you an introduction to the three of us in my family.

Lets start with how Kolton and I met.. typical high school love that everyone says doesn't last, our story is different we proved the statistic wrong. Kolton had messaged me on facebook saying, Hey cutie, me thinking a boy that i had never talked to,  just someone i knew in the halls of pleasant grove high saying Hey cutie to me what was he thinking... but Okay Okay i responded haha hi and the conversation went on we exchanged numbers (well he told me to text him with his number below and honestly fine i couldn't resist i texted him leaving him with my number)

We tied the knot on september 22, 2012 we already had our little treasure sophie ann by our side, also another statistic we beat that teen pregnancy and teen boys wont stick around or the relationship wont last. We have had our ups and down, id even say our through the sky moments and our bury me in the ground moments but here we are 3 years together and still happy. Marriage is NOT easy by any means but every day it is worth it eating dinner together, watching princess and the frog (for the 10th time that day), or all brushing our teeth before bed everything goes away and it is all worth it.

Let me explain the Statistic voice through this blog post, we have got every statistic thrown our way and nothing makes me more mad then another being thrown in our face. So i am just venting about that through our into, so my apologies. I'll stop(:

Let me go back to May 5, 2012 my ACTUAL DUE DATE, but surprise did i have a baby girl in my arms that day... NOPE just a big fat basketball up my shirt still. Every mom does this so i dont feel bad telling you.... we went to the hospital saying i hadn't felt sophie move that day so they would check me out and possibly induce me, i mean really i was at my due date all 40 weeks, COME ON! we walked out of the hospital about an hour later saying everything was fine... dang you sophie hold still when they are looking at you dont you want to come see me! One week later on May 12, 2012 we walked back into the american fork hospital knowing we wouldnt leave without our baby girl. Labor was a BREEZE (most people say i am crazy but i loved labor, most likely because my pregnancy was HORRIBLE throwing up everyday for 40 weeks not the funnest). Those couple days at the hospital were the best days of my life i was and still am 100% complete, but who says you can be 105% complete, i can make room for a couple more babies down the road.

So there you have it how kolton and I met and the day our sophie ann came into our life. I will have much more to tell about our little family, just wait. Like said in my bio there are plenty more jokes, facts, and more LIFE coming your way.
    Yours truly, llysa lou

    welcome to my blog

Yes I know this is the 50th blog that I have started & the one I am hoping I wont delete after a week. My main reason for wanting to start a blog once again:
I have gone back and fourth on what to go to college for and when i mean back and fourth i mean through the roof, pondering out the window, running through the front door and any other home thought you could relate to sitting on hours of thinking what to do?
First i wanted to be a KINDERGARTEN TEACHER  then was told there are 50 applicants to 1 job position & i crossed that off the list for good.
Second i resorted to what every 18 year old girl thinks to be.. a NURSE they make 50,000 a year on there own an awesome second income or a lot of shopping spree's (depending on what kind of living your husband makes).
I was all signed up Provo College i was yours, then i found out that i was going to have my little baby girl, the joy of my life Sophie and i pulled my name from the roll, i know for a fact this was a blessing in disguise.
SO..... after thinking, pondering, and a lot of people magazines and newspaper ads.. me, i, allysa lesueur have decided that i am going to go into the field of WRITING/JOURNALISM. Ding, ding, ding WINNER. So lets hope that this blog will help me with my writing and English skills (because we all know that went out the window after high school.) &&&& if anyone knows of any internships at newspaper PLEASE LET ME KNOW(: I will become an awesome green shirted UVU student, January 2014 see you in the many hall ways.

(on a side note happy 1 year to my hubby & i just have to ask do you think my blog title is to much of a mouth full?)
